1) How to fix the error code "Connection timed out:" returned due to instance access time-out?
The default network type of HiTSBD instances is VPC. In this mode, if the access host and the HiTSDB instance are not in the same VPC, the network cannot be connected and the connection request times out. The solution is as follows:
If the writing host and the instance are in the same region, add the writing test host to the VPC gateway of the HiTSDB instance.
If the writing host and the instance are not in the same region, you can use Classlink to create an access channel between the classic network and VPC. Please see Interconnectivity between a Classic Network and VPC through Classlink.
2) What is the solution when "Exceed Max TS counter 1200000" is returned for a request?
It indicates the total number of time series of the HiTSDB instance has exceeded the one defined in the product specifications definition. You will need to increase the configured value of the time series or delete part of the times series.
