Target customers: data developers, data analysts, users who use the external table feature of MaxCompute to interact with ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition or ApsaraDB for Lindorm, users who perform federated queries, and users who build a lakehouse solution. Features released: ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition is a cloud database that is provided by the wide table engine of ApsaraDB for Lindorm and is fully compatible with HBase. ApsaraDB for Lindorm is a cloud-native multi-mode hyper-converged database that is designed and optimized for scenarios such as Internet of things (IoT), Internet, and Internet of vehicles (IoV). ApsaraDB for Lindorm supports unified access and processing of a variety of data, such as wide tables, time series, text, objects, streams, and spaces. In many scenarios, you need to import data from ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition or ApsaraDB for Lindorm to MaxCompute for data processing, data analysis, and federated queries. You may also need to write data in MaxCompute to ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition or ApsaraDB for Lindorm. MaxCompute now allows you to create an external table of ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition or ApsaraDB for Lindorm and use the external table to read data from or write data to the database.
