Alibaba Cloud Model Studio will update its Qwen VL-Plus (qwen-vl-plus) model on June 4, 2025.

Impact

After the update:

Qwen VL-Plus will have enhanced detail and text recognition capabilities, supporting images with over one-million-pixel resolution and any aspect ratio. It will deliver exceptional performance for various visual tasks.

Model mapping:

Qwen VL-Plus-2025-01-25 snapshot is the updated version on June 4.

The current version of Qwen VL-Plus will be deprecated on June 4.
