AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL - Serverless Mode Released in Public Preview to Support Separation of Computing and Storage
Target customers: all users. Features released: AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL in Serverless mode is now in public preview based on a brand-new cloud native architecture to decouple computing from storage for separate scaling. Scaling can be implemented within a few seconds for an instance that has 16 or less compute nodes, and within a few minutes for an instance that has more than 16 compute nodes. Storage resources can be shared without the need of provisioning and can be scaled up at an 80% off unit price on a pay-as-you-go basis. The query performance of hot data on local SSDs is improved to approach that of the elastic storage mode based on hybrid row-column storage and I/O pruning.
