Unified Management and Paid Offering with SLA
Affected Time
Overview of Changes
To continuously provide higher-quality and more stable services, Argo Workflows on Alibaba Cloud Container Service (ACK) will introduce a pay-as-you-go billing model for all newly created clusters starting from the effective date. These new paid clusters will be backed by a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) .
1. For New Clusters (Created on or after March 31, 2026)
Starting from 00:00, March 31, 2026 (UTC+8), all newly created Argo Workflows clusters will be subject to a pay-as-you-go billing model .
These paid clusters will come with Service Level Agreement (SLA) support.
Detailed pricing information can be found in our Billing Documentation.
2. For Existing Clusters (Created before March 31, 2026)
Your existing Argo Workflows clusters will not be affected by this change and will remain free of charge.
You can continue to manage all your existing clusters via the Alibaba Cloud ACK Console > Argo Workflows section.
Action Required for SLA Support: If you require SLA support for your current workloads, you will need to create a new paid Argo Workflows cluster on or after March 31, 2026, and subsequently migrate your existing workflows to it.
Action Required
This upgrade will not affect the use of your existing workflow clusters, nor will they be charged. Only newly created clusters will be subject to fees and be covered by an SLA.
If you require SLA coverage, please create a new paid cluster via the ACK Console > Container > Argo Workflows after the above date and migrate your workflows accordingly. The management entry point will be fully migrated to this location soon—please watch for in-console notifications.
