Currently, some older versions of the Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch kernel have entered or are about to enter the EOM (End of Marketing/Sales) phase. While existing clusters in these two phases can continue to operate normally in the short term, their outdated versions may pose potential security risks, stability concerns, and issues with obtaining the latest official technical support. It is recommended that you promptly assess your current business usage of these kernel versions and upgrade or migrate your clusters to officially fully supported stable versions as soon as possible.

List of old versions being retired (no longer available for new purchases, but existing users are not affected):

• Some 5.x versions: 5.5.3
• Some 6.x versions: 6.3.2

Impact：

This change has no impact on existing users. However, it is recommended that you promptly assess your current business plan regarding the use of the kernel version and upgrade or migrate your cluster to a stable version fully supported by the official team as soon as possible.

Based on your current business situation, please refer to the following suggestions for version optimization:

If you are using a product version earlier than 5.5.3:
It is recommended that you upgrade to the final version of Elasticsearch 5.x - 5.6.16, as soon as possible through data migration.

If you are using a product version earlier than 6.3.2:
It is recommended that you upgrade to the final version of Elasticsearch 6.x - 6.8.23, as soon as possible through data migration.

If you need to continue using product versions before 5.5.3 or 6.3.2, you can continue to use the current versions. However, due to their outdated nature, there may be potential security vulnerabilities, stability risks, and an inability to obtain the latest official technical support.
