Tenant-level Information Schema allows you to use tenant-level metadata to pull all metadata of a specific type of object in the same metadata center at a time. You do not need to query metadata from each project. Tenant-level Information Schema delivers higher query efficiency than project-level Information Schema. For example, if you need to measure the sizes of tables in all projects of your Alibaba Cloud account, you can directly obtain the table sizes from the TABLES and PARTITIONS views. The new view CATALOGS is provided for you to view the basic information and basic attributes of all projects in a metadata center.
