If you fail to specify the vCPU and memory specifications of the pod and containers when you create an elastic container instance, and if you fail to specify the Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance type, the system automatically uses the specifications of 2 vCPUs and 4 GiB memory to create the elastic container instance. However, the system does not provide the prompt about the default specifications. If you configure the AutoInstanceTypeMatch event, the system provides the prompt that it uses the specifications of 2 vCPUs and 4 GiB memory to create the elastic container instance. This improves customer experience.
