Target customers: DLA users. Feature released: DLA supports data in MaxCompute external tables. MaxCompute (previously known as ODPS) is a rapid, fully-managed TB- or PB-level data warehouse solution. The unstructured data processing framework of MaxCompute allows you to export MaxCompute data to Object Storage Service (OSS) by using the INSERT statement. MaxCompute allows you to create external tables and associate the tables with OSS to export data. DLA enables you to analyze data in MaxCompute external tables despite their special directory structure. Before data analysis, you only need to set the directory.odps parameter to true when you create a table. Then, DLA reads data files based on the directory structure of MaxCompute external tables.
