Elastic Compute Service (ECS)To protect Pay-As-You-Go instances from being mistakenly released by calling an API, you can now set DeletionProtection parameter to true.

Target customers: All Alibaba Cloud users. Features released: You can set the DeletionProtection parameter to true to prevent Pay-As-You-Go instances from being released by mistake. An error will occur if you use an API to release instances. You must call the ModifyInstanceAttribute operation or set the DeletionProtection parameter to false in the console to release an instance. Currently, Subscription or preemptible instances do not support this feature.
