DCDN

A content delivery acceleration service, based on Alibaba Cloud's CDN to accelerate content delivery for hybrid sites, dynamic sites, and applications.

Detailed pricing information about Dynamic Route for Content Delivery Network (DCDN)

The billing methods of Dynamic Route for Content Delivery Network (DCDN) include Pay by Traffic/Bandwidth and Pay by Requests.

For Pay by Traffic/Bandwidth, you can choose one of the following two options: Pay by Traffic or Pay by Daily Peak Bandwidth.

For Pay by Requests, you are billed based on dynamic requests. If you have activated HTTPS secure acceleration, then you are also billed by the number of HTTPS requests.

• Pay By Traffic

• Pay By Requests

• Pay By Websocket Traffic or Websocket Bandwidth

Description of Applicable Scenarios
Billing Method Description Applicable Scenarios
Pay-By-Traffic Users are billed according to the actual traffic used and calculated on an hourly basis This billing method is applicable to scenarios where the domain name traffic curve has substantial fluctuations and bandwidth spikes or where the bandwidth utilization is less than 30% for the day
Pay-By-Bandwidth Users are billed by daily peak bandwidth. A peak bandwidth value is recorded at intervals of 5 minutes for a total of 288 values a day. The highest value is used for billing purposes This billing method is applicable to scenarios where the domain name traffic curve is relatively flat or where bandwidth utilization exceeds a daily rate of 30%

Note: The calculation for bandwidth utilization is as follows: Bandwidth Utilization = Actual Usage (GB)/(Peak Bandwidth (Mbps) x 10.54) For example: 1 Mbps bandwidth at 100% utilization for 24 hours would generate 10.54 GB of traffic usage.
