Product introduction: A storage plan is a subscription resource plan provided by PolarDB. The storage plan can be used to offset fees for the storage usage of level-1 backups that exceed the free quota, level-2 backups, log backups, and cold data.
Storage plans can significantly reduce storage costs. If you select a larger capacity and a longer duration for the storage plan that you purchase, you can receive a higher discount. Price adjustment 1. The storage usage fees of the following resources can now be offset for PolarDB Enterprise Edition:
(1) The storage usage fees of level-2 backups can be offset with an offset factor of 0.043 in the Chinese mainland and 0.054 in Hong Kong (China) and regions outside China.
(2) The storage usage fees of log backups can be offset with an offset factor of 0.043 in the Chinese mainland and 0.054 in Hong Kong (China) and regions outside China.
(3) The storage usage fees of cold data can be offset with an offset factor of 0.045.
2. The PL0 ESSD usage fees can now be offset for PolarDB Standard Edition. The offset factor is 0.22 when hot standby storage is disabled and 0.35 when hot standby storage is enabled.
3. The offset factors for the usage of PL1 ESSDs, PL2 ESSDs, and PL3 ESSDs when hot standby storage is enabled are changed for PolarDB Standard Edition:
(1) For PL1 ESSDs: the offset factor is changed from 0.88 to 0.70.
(2) For PL2 ESSDs: the offset factor is changed from 1.76 to 1.41.
(3) For PL3 ESSDs: the offset factor is changed from 3.52 to 2.82.
