This plug-in is designed to improve write throughput and reduce write rejections. It aggregates bulk write requests in batches based on the specified request size and time interval. This prevents small bulk requests from blocking the write queue. The plug-in is ideal for scenarios with high write throughput and a large number of index shards. In such scenarios, the plug-in can improve the write throughput by more than 20%. We recommend that you do not use this plug-in in latency-sensitive scenarios.
