You can now clone an Application Load Balancer (ALB) instance, allowing you to quickly create a new instance with a configuration that is identical or similar to an existing one. This feature streamlines environment provisioning, simplifies disaster recovery setups, and accelerates configuration migration, significantly improving deployment efficiency and business continuity.

Target customers: All customers. Feature description: The cloning process replicates key configurations from a source instance, eliminating the need for tedious manual reconfiguration and ensuring consistency between environments. The following core settings are copied: listeners, forwarding rules, backend server groups, and health checks. This feature allows you to avoid the tedious process of manual reconfiguration and ensure that the new instance has the same or similar configurations as the original instance. This feature is especially suitable for use cases such as disaster recovery and configuration migration.
