The previously scheduled discontinuation of the enterprise edition series of ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL planned for August 2023 has been adjusted. The new deadline is now no later than May 31, 2024, in Singapore Time, after which we will no longer accept new orders for the product in all regions where it is currently sold. Details are as follows:
Affected Product: ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL - Enterprise Edition Series
End-of-Sale Date: May 31, 2024 (GMT+8)
Impacts:
● From the end of sale date, new purchase services for all configurations of the affected product will no longer be provided, but services such as renewal, reconfiguration, and upgrade of existing instances of the affected product will not be impacted for the time being. Specifically, new purchases on a yearly/monthly subscription or pay-as-you-go basis for the affected product will no longer be available. Functions that would generate similar new instances, such as "Instance Cloning," "Instance Rebuilding," "Restoring to a New Instance from Backup," or reconfiguring/upgrading from an instance of another series to the discontinued version, will also no longer be available.
● From the end of sale date, functionality of the affected product will no longer iterate, with only HotFix and Bugfix being provided.
