Alibaba Cloud Model Studio will update its Qwen VL-Max (qwen-vl-max) model on June 4, 2025.

Impact

After the update: Qwen VL-Max will have enhanced mathematical and reasoning capabilities. The response style will be adjusted to better align with human preferences. The comprehensiveness as well as the formatting clarity of the model's responses will be significantly improved.

We have already pre-released the updated version: Qwen VL-Max-2025-04-08, which you can preview now.

Model mapping: Qwen VL-Max-2025-04-08 is the updated version on June 4. You can get early access to experience the latest updates.
