Updates to ApsaraDB RDS Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Alibaba Cloud has changed the Service Level Agreement ("SLA") for ApsaraDB RDS. This revision enhances the availability commitments for High Availability and Cluster series instances with multi-zone deployment, as well as adds service availability commitments for the ApsaraDB RDS for PostgreSQL Cluster series instances. The improvements are as follows:

  • ApsaraDB RDS High Availability and Cluster Series Instances with Dual-Zone Deployment:
    • Dedicated Instances: Service availability commitment increased from 99.99% to 99.995%
    • General-Purpose Instances: Service availability commitment increased from 99.95% to 99.995%
  • ApsaraDB RDS Cluster Series Instances with Three or More Zones Deployment:
    • Dedicated Instances: Service availability commitment increased from 99.99% to 99.997%
    • General-Purpose Instances: Service availability commitment increased from 99.99% to 99.997%

In accordance with the terms of our Service Level Agreement, the revised SLA will apply immediately to both existing and newly purchased ApsaraDB RDS instances. The revised agreement can be found at ApsaraDB RDS Service Level Agreement >
