Changes:

Simple Log Service SLS plans to upgrade the architecture and product of the Simple Log Service Time Series Storage module function based on Region from June 30, 2025 to September 30, 2025 (Beijing time).

Upgrade optimization:

1. Cost optimization, no longer charge for raw data storage, and the overall time series storage cost is expected to drop by about 10%

2. Query performance optimization, up to support analysis of millions of timelines in seconds

3. Support SPL query syntax, and provide more flexible and efficient time series data analysis methods based on SPL built-in Series operators

Upgrade impact:

1. After the upgrade, the storage time of the Simple Log Service Time Series Storage will be adjusted from the original corresponding raw data columns and index columns to only the time series data index columns. The original data columns will be saved for 3 days by default, and no longer charged. This adjustment does not affect most of the existing time series library functions, but only for data older than 3 days, it no longer has streaming consumption capabilities.
