Changes

To enhance the Security Center service experience, we will adjust the pricing and features of pay-as-you-go products starting September 11, 2025 and November 17, 2025, respectively. The specific changes are as follows:

1. Host and container security protection change

On September 11, 2025, UTC+8, The original protection capabilities based on Security Center editions will be upgraded to the following three protection levels, with a gradual transition from the old version:

• Level 1: Virus protection
  • Features: Blocks host intrusion detection and virus processes.
  • Applicable To: Users on the original Anti-Virus edition will be automatically migrated to this level.
  • Impact: Existing capabilities remain unchanged.
• Level 2: Full host protection
  • Features: Provides host detection and real-time defense.
  • Applicable To: Users on the original Enterprise edition servers will be migrated to this level by default.
  • Extended features: To use system vulnerability fix or baseline check, you must separately activate the vulnerability fix and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) features on a pay-as-you-go basis.
• Level 3: Full protection for hosts and containers
  • Features: Includes all Level 2 capabilities, plus container security features such as runtime protection and image scanning.
  • Applicable To: Users with container assets who enable full protection can upgrade from the original Ultimate Edition to this level.
  • Extended features: Requires pay-as-you-go for vulnerability fixing and baseline checks.
• Advanced Edition
  • The Advanced Edition will retain its current configuration, with unchanged functionality.
  • Advanced Edition no longer supports new server bindings.
  • Vulnerability fixing and baseline check features require separate activation on a pay-as-you-go basis.

2. New basic service fee

To ensure stable operation, the Security Center will implement a basic service fee on November 17, 2025, UTC+8:

• Pricing: USD 0.0076 per hour (minimum charge is for 1 hour).
• Billing: The fee is automatically charged upon usage of any pay-as-you-go features.
• Benefits: Features can now be utilized independently of the Security Center edition, with no additional host protection fees.
  • DingTalk Chatbot
  • Security Report
  • Task Center (Enable the vulnerability fixing feature to use Task Center.)

Note: The features can be used independently; however, the basic service fee applies only after activating these features with pay-as-you-go.

3. Important tips and service optimization

• Impact: This change applies only to pay-as-you-go users. Subscription users are not affected.
• One-time service deactivation:
  • To prevent unnecessary charges, the system will automatically disable the service for pay-as-you-go users who have not used the Security Center for 15 consecutive days during the basic service fee adjustment.
  • This is a one-time measure, not a recurring shutdown. You can reactivate the service anytime through the console.
• Recommendation: If you no longer use the Security Center, manually disable the pay-as-you-go feature to avoid future charges.
