Changes

Model Studio will start to update and upgrade the stable versions of Qwen-VL-Max and Qwen-VL-Plus on September 16, 2025.

Beijing region:

• qwen-vl-max will update to qwen-vl-max-2025-08-13. The pricing of the stable model will be the same as the snapshot. Cached prices will change accordingly.
• qwen-vl-plus will update to qwen-vl-plus-2025-08-15. The pricing of the stable model will be the same as the snapshot. Cached prices will change accordingly.

Singapore region:

• qwen-vl-max will update to qwen-vl-max-2025-08-13. Pricing of the stable model will remain unchanged. But it will support batch inference, priced at 50% of the input price.
• qwen-vl-plus will update to qwen-vl-plus-2025-08-15. Pricing of the stable model will remain unchanged. But it will support batch inference, priced at 50% of the input price.

Impact

After the update (September 16, 2025, subject to actual release time):

Beijing region:

• qwen-vl-max will update to qwen-vl-max-2025-08-13. The pricing of the stable model will be the same as the snapshot as stated in the following table. Cached prices will change accordingly.

• qwen-vl-plus will update to qwen-vl-plus-2025-08-15. The pricing of the stable model will be the same as the snapshot as stated in the following table. Cached prices will change accordingly.

Singapore region:

• qwen-vl-max will update to qwen-vl-max-2025-08-13. Its pricing will remain unchanged. But it will support batch inference, priced at 50% of the input price ($0.8 per million tokens).
• qwen-vl-plus will update to qwen-vl-plus-2025-08-15. Its pricing will remain unchanged. But it will support batch inference, priced at 50% of the input price ($0.21 per million tokens).

Model mapping

If your business is better suited to the current model version, you can switch to the current version before September 16, 2025.
