Alibaba Cloud Model Studio will update its Qwen VL-Plus model on June 30, 2025.

Impact

This update will significantly enhance the model's capabilities of detail recognition and text recognition, supporting resolutions exceeding millions of pixels and images with any aspect ratio, delivering excellent performance across a wide range of visual tasks.

We have pre-released the updated version, Qwen-VL-Plus-2025-05-07, which you can preview now. If you wish to stay at the current model, manually switch to Qwen-VL-Plus-2025-01-25 before June 30. (Note: The snapshot is not intended for long-term use.)

Model mapping: Before the update, the performance of qwen-vl-plus is equivalent to qwen-vl-plus-2025-01-25. After the update, it will be equivalent to qwen-vl-plus-2025-05-07.
