Changes

The Model Studio will begin updating and upgrading the qwen3-vl-plus and qwen-plus models in the Beijing and Singapore regions starting from the evening of January 20, 2026 (UTC+08)

The specific updates are as follows:

• qwen3-vl-plus will be automatically upgraded to the qwen3-vl-plus-2025-12-19 snapshot model, with no changes to billing items or pricing.
• qwen-plus will be automatically upgraded to the qwen-plus-2025-12-01 snapshot model, with no changes to billing items or pricing.

Model mapping

If your application is better suited to the current model version, you may manually switch to it before January 20, 2026 (UTC+08).

• qwen3-vl-plus: Current: qwen3-vl-plus-2025-09-23. After update: qwen3-vl-plus-2025-12-19
• qwen-plus: Current: qwen-plus-2025-07-28. After update: qwen-plus-2025-12-01
