Changes

To continuously enhance model performance and service experience, while optimizing underlying resource management, Model Studio will deprecate the gte-rerank model on May 30, 2026.

We recommend migrating from the gte-rerank model to the qwen3-rerank model as a replacement.

Impact of the Change

After the model is deprecated, inference services will no longer be supported, and any applications or services currently calling this model will fail to return results properly.

If you are currently using this model, please update your application before May 30, 2026 to avoid disruptions to your production services.
