Elastic Compute Service (ECS) - t5 Unlimited Instances Available to All Users
Nov 03 2018
Elastic Compute Service (ECS)Content
Target customers: All users. Features released: A burstable instance has the ability to burst to a high level of CPU performance when required. Each t5 instance has a baseline of CPU computing performance and continuously drains CPU resources at a specific speed based on the instance type. When a t5 instance is running, the CPU resources are consumed to meet performance requirements. More CPU resources are consumed if the CPU computing performance of a t5 instance is higher than the baseline. You previously needed to change the instance type to avoid low CPU computing speed caused by exceeding CPU resources. You can now enable the Unlimited mode for the t5 instance to ensure that CPU computing performance is above the baseline.
