Elastic Compute Service (ECS)Content
Target customers: users who seek to enhance network access control and the fine-grained routing and forwarding, networking, and traffic auditing capabilities of ECS instances. Feature released: ECS now supports the creation of instances that support advanced VPC features, such as network ACLs, route tables, and flow logs, to improve user experience in security, forwarding, and audit. The following limits apply to advanced VPC features and ECS instances: 1. Instance creation: If advanced features are enabled on a VPC, you can create ECS instances only of instance families that support advanced VPC features in that VPC. 2. Instance type change: ECS instances in a VPC on which advanced features are enabled can have their instance types changed only within or across instance families that support the advanced VPC features. 3. When you enable advanced features on a VPC, the VPC is automatically checked for ECS instances whose instance types need to be changed. You can use the configuration upgrade or downgrade feature to change the instance types of the ECS instances.
