ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL - Supports Read-only Instances for Enterprise Edition
Nov 19 2019
ApsaraDB RDS for MySQLContent
Target customers: users in business scenarios that require an RPO of zero or where the primary instance cannot process large numbers of read requests. Features released: ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL 5.7 Enterprise Edition now supports read-only instances. 1. General-purpose and dedicated read-only instances can be located in a different zone from the primary instance. The read-only instances of Enterprise Edition can ensure full data consistency because of the native copy feature, and thus process large numbers of read requests. 2. Read-only instances are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. 3. Up to five read-only instances can be created on the Basic Information page of the ApsaraDB for RDS console.
