Target customers: customers that demand high availability. Before they deploy their services online, they can use this feature in disaster recovery drills by manually triggering master-replica failovers. If their services are deployed across zones, after a cross-region failover is triggered, customers can manually switch the workloads back to the recovered master node in the previous zone. This reduces the response latency because it saves the need to transmit network traffic from customer servers to ApsaraDB for Redis instances across zones. Features released: ApsaraDB for Redis now supports manual failovers between the master node and a replica node.
