Elastic Container Instance (ECI) - Supports Automatic Creation of Pay-as-you-go Instances When No Resources Meet the Conditions to Create Preemptible Instances

Elastic Container Instance provides an optional parameter, which specifies whether to create pay-as-you-go instances if no resources are available to create preemptible instances. This improves the success rate of instance creation.

Target customers: customers who use preemptible instances and have requirements for resource elasticity assurance. Features released: When users try to create a preemptible instance, a preemptible instance is created if inventory resources meet the requirements for specifications and price limits. If no inventory resources meet the requirements for specifications and price limits, a pay-as-you-go instance is created. After a pay-as-you-go instance is created, the system does not automatically release the instance and charges you based on pay-as-you-go instances. After an instance is created, you can run the kubectl describe pod command to view the events of the corresponding pod and check whether the instance is a pay-as-you-go instance. If a SpotDegraded event is displayed, the instance is a pay-as-you-go instance.
