Product introduction: Cloud Shell is a browser-based management tool.After you start Cloud Shell using a browser, Alibaba Cloud offers a secure operating environment that is preinstalled with multiple software tools. This software includes several management tools such as CLI and Terraform, and system tools such as SSH, Vim, and jq. These tools are uniquely designed to help you manage Alibaba Cloud resources using command lines from within a browser. Target customers: enterprises or developers that manage and control resources in the cloud, such as enterprise administrators, CMPs, MSPs, and distributors. Features released: 1. Support for managing Alibaba Cloud resources using command lines: You can run Linux commands and Shell scripts to manage Alibaba Cloud resources using preinstalled tools, such as CLI and Terraform. 2. Automatic authorization: Cloud Shell automatically grants permissions. This enables you to manage cloud resources without additional operations. The management permissions owned by each logon account are identical to those granted in RAM. 3. Security defense: Cloud Shell authenticates all logon users and isolates virtual machines by user to ensure a safe operating environment. 4. Automatic allocation of virtual machines: Cloud Shell allocates each user a Linux virtual machine for free /unlimited/unrestricted use. The virtual machine is available as long as the session is valid. 5. Persistent storage: You can integrate Cloud Shell with OSS to provide persistent storage for all users.
