Data Mid-End: Overcoming Data Silos Quickly and Cost-Effectively
CviLux uses Alibaba Cloud data mid-end to integrate heterogeneous system information, which includes data from IoT devices, production systems, and MES systems. This helps break down the barriers between IT systems and overcome data silos. CviLux reduces the time required for data computing from 4-5 hours to a few minutes using MaxCompute. After data activation, CviLux improves operational efficiency by utilizing data, algorithms, modules, process automation, and data visualization tailored to specific business scenarios.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA): 15 RPA Projects Reduce the Overall Labor Costs by 12.5%
CviLux integrates Alibaba Cloud RPA in a non-intrusive way to automate processes based on the computing results of the data mid-end and the business logic. CviLux deployed 15 RPA projects to automate processes in different departments (such as production, finance, and human resources). CviLux also created five digital employees to manage periodic work scheduling, reducing the overall labor costs by 12.5% and improving overall efficiency. For example, current standardized production processes (such as demand, order, material requisition, and goods receipt) are imported into RPA to generate an automated side-to-side solution. In addition, the item number invalidation process of CviLux can be automatically triggered by RPA based on the computing results and prediction of the data mid-end in thousands of item numbers. This reduces the time spent on manual operations and cross-department communication and allows demand departments to initiate requests independently.

DataV: Real-Time Data Visualization Dashboards to Support Decision-Making
CviLux uses DataV to create visual dashboards for insights obtained from the data mid-end. CviLux uses various built-in templates to accelerate communication between the information department and other departments about business scenarios, saving efforts and reducing costs for customization. CviLux standardizes dashboards, embeds webpages of DataV into existing systems, and deploys in factories across Asia within a month. This enables CviLux to take real-time measurements of key performance metrics and dynamic decision adjustments, improving data application efficiency.
