Architecture
Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS), Function Compute, and Image Search have been implemented to optimize and enhance Cobalt's overall image processing and storage capability. With Alibaba Cloud OSS, Cobalt's product images are stored in a highly secure and encrypted cloud environment.
With the powerful data processing and computing capabilities, huge amount of data and high resolution images could be accessed efficiently anytime anywhere, at the same time, enabling on-demand image resizing, which avoids congesting the network traffic when downloading large images.
With Alibaba Cloud Function Compute and Image Search function, Cobalt is able to create an intelligent image library, enabling designers to locate specific images as well as other relevant image data at a much faster rate.
With these services implemented, the overall design process efficiency at Cobalt has increased significantly by 80%.
