As MongoDB open source community has announced the end of life for MongoDB version 3.4 on January 31, 2020 and no maintenance update for this version was offered since that time, users who continues to run on this version would expose themselves to potential risks if continuing to run on MongoDB version 3.4. To provide more secure products with better experience, starting from January 1, 2023, Alibaba Cloud will no longer offer ApsaraDB for MongoDB version 3.4. We recommend that you upgrade to later MongoDB versions as soon as possible. Please see below detailed information.
End-of-Sale Date: January 1, 2023
Product: ApsaraDB for MongoDB version 3.4
Impacts:
1.As of the end-of-sale date, all instance types of ApsaraDB for MongoDB version 3.4 with subscription or pay-as-you-go billing method, including Standalone, ReplicaSet, and Sharded Cluster will no longer be available for sale.
2.As of the end-of-sale date, existing instances of ApsaraDB for MongoDB version 3.4 could no longer support clone or rebuilt.
3.As of the end-of-sale date, all features will no longer be updated for ApsaraDB for MongoDB version 3.4.
4.As of the end-of-sale date, functions including renewal, configuration change, and version upgrade can still be performed for existing instances of ApsaraDB for MongoDB version 3.4.
