Notice of DMS Billing adjustment

Effective May 20, 2020, the Alibaba Cloud Data Management DMS product pricing model will be changed as detailed below.
Change Description
Original advanced version of DMS
Changed to "stable change" control mode.
The old version no longer supports new purchases while historical orders allow renewals, upgrades, including auto-renewals)
Access Portal: Check former advanced version of DMS at dms-intl.console.aliyun.com or check the new version of DMS at dms.alibabacloud.com.
The original number of users is automatically converted to the number of instances available.
In addition to the original data management basic functions and threshold capabilities, it provides many capabilities to ensure the stability of changes, such as lockless data changes, lockless structure changes, pre-change lock detection, and pre-change session detection.
Original Enterprise DMS
Change to "security collaboration" control model
The old version no longer supports new purchases while historical orders allow renewals, upgrades, including auto-renewals.
Access portal: As same as new version of DMS (dms.alibabacloud.com).
The existing number of instances is automatically converted to the number of instances in the "Security Collaboration" control mode.Up to 68% reduction in charges for the same specifications
Free version of DMS or for new users
The original free version of DMS has been changed to "free operation" and will continue to be used for free.
If you want to use the change stability-related features of DMS or higher export thresholds and other advanced capabilities, you can choose to purchase the "stable change" control mode and go to the new version of DMS (dms.alibabacloud.com) to configure the "stable change" control mode for the corresponding database instance.
To use the Security Collaboration features of DMS (data access security, R&D specifications, R&D performance approval process control), you can choose to purchase the Security Collaboration control mode and go to the new version of DMS (dms.alibabacloud.com) and configure it as the Security Collaboration control mode for the corresponding database instance.
