Update content: In order to provide you with better service, the new version of Threat Analysis and Response(TAR) function will be released from 09:00 on April 22, 2024 to 18:00 on April 26, 2024. The specific updates are as follows:
1. Publish a new billing policy. The billing policy is not affected by the purchased TAR Uids, and the original billing policy is maintained.
2. In multi-account management scenarios, the TAR Uids have been purchased. The accounting policy is not affected and the original accounting policy is maintained. The functions of DA accounts and managed member accounts have changed:
a. New functions: For managed member accounts, you can view only Security Alerts and Log Search before. After the upgrade, you can use all the functions of TAR.
b. Function Loss: The Access Authorization function on the System Configuration - Multi-Account Security Management - Threat Analysis Monitor Account page is offline. If a managed member account needs to access log data of its own UID account, it needs to purchase log storage capacity based on the new billing policy. (Attention, please! The managed member account does not need to pay extra for "Log Collection Traffic", and the specification can be set to 0 when placing an order.)
c. Configuration impact: The accessed cross-account log data will belong to the UID that has previously purchased TAR, and this UID will be set as "Global Account Administrator" by the system. The UID that was previously set as the delegated administrator needs to be switched to the UID of the "Global Account Administrator" through the account in the upper left corner of the Cloud Security Center console after the upgrade, so that the log data of globally controlled accounts can be managed in a unified way.
3. In the single-account scenario, TAR are purchased for the UID that has not activated the Resource Directory Service. After the upgrade, the value of main_user_id changes to N/A.
