Database Autonomy Service (DAS) provides the following editions: Basic Edition and Professional Edition. This topic describes the databases and features that are supported by the two editions of DAS.

Edition Basic Edition Professional Edition
Fee Free of charge. You are charged storage fees on a pay-as-you-go basis and subscription fees for database instances for which DAS Professional Edition is enabled. For more information, see Pricing of DAS Professional Edition.

In addition to the features provided by Basic Edition, Professional Edition supports the following features: automatic SQL optimization, intelligent stress testing, automatic tablespace fragment recycling, and SQL Explorer and security audit.
