Launched in early August by integrating three core Alibaba agent platforms—Qoderwork, Mulerun, and Wukong—QwenWork is among the industry’s first solutions to unify desktop, cloud, and enterprise collaboration agents into a single interface. Designed to enhance productivity for both individuals and organizations, the product has seen rapid iteration, completing 120 version updates and rolling out over 1,000 new features in its first 30 days.

QwenWork integrates natively with collaboration platforms like DingTalk to operate directly within core business systems. Beyond summarizing group chats, transcribing meetings, and managing schedules, the agent enables complex cross-system operations. For example, sales representatives can issue natural-language prompts in DingTalk to query customer records, inventory levels, and order statuses across CRM and ERP systems, receiving synthesized, actionable business recommendations without switching applications.

Early Adopters Drive Value Across Entire Value Chains

Since its launch, QwenWork has been adopted by leading enterprises across automotive, financial services, logistics, embodied intelligence, and scientific research in China, including Changan Automobile, Huifu World, Transfar Group, and Laoxiangji.

As one of China’s leading automakers,Changan Automobile has deployed QwenWork across its entire value chain spanning across R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and service operations. In R&D, engineers used QwenWork to build tools that cut wire harness calculation time from two days to five minutes and reduced lighting design alignment from weeks to a single meeting. On the manufacturing floor, QwenWork supported non-technical staff to develop apps that slashed vehicle document verification time from over ten minutes to under two. Supply chain operations saw a 90% workload reduction through automated supplier reviews, while sales teams accelerated user insight analysis from days to just half a day by automating the processing of tens of thousands of survey responses.

At Huifu World, a digital payments company, QwenWork has transformed internal knowledge and sales processes into reusable digital assets, embedding AI directly into data governance and payment workflows.

QwenWork is currently available in China via standalone desktop client, web browser, and DingTalk integration, with a dedicated mobile app to be rolled out later. Recently it has just launched an international edition to global markets, marking Alibaba’s most comprehensive push to bring enterprise-grade AI agents to worldwide markets.
