The European automotive industry's TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) certification is a mutually acceptable assessment of the automotive industry's information security assessment and provides a common assessment and exchange mechanism. All relevant companies in the European automotive industry are interested in the influence of TISAX certification in the industry. TISAX was founded by the German Association of the Automotive Industry or VDA (German: Verband der Automobilindustrie e. V.) and regulated by the European Network Exchange (ENX).
