ISO/IEC 29151:2017 provides a large number of practical guidelines for companies to protect personal privacy and control of compliance risks, to meet the requirements identified in the risk and impact assessment related to the protection of personally identifiable information(PII). Based on ISO/IEC 27002 guidelines while taking into account requirements for handling PII that may be applicable in an organization's information security risk environment.
