Effective date: April 6, 2021

Description: For pay-as-you-go ECS instances that were stopped due to overdue payments, the instances are now reactivated automatically after the overdue bills are settled. This eliminates the need to manually reactivate the instances.

Note: After a pay-as-you-go instance is reactivated, it continues to be charged on a pay-as-you-go basis. To avoid excess costs, we recommend that you manually release ECS instances that are no longer needed in a timely manner. ECS instances may fail to be reactivated automatically. We recommend that you monitor whether your instance is reactivated after the overdue bill is settled. If the instance fails to be reactivated, you must proceed as prompted.
