One of the most significant doctor needs required Align Technology to provide a robust storage and database solution that enabled them to keep track of patient data while also keeping the personal information secure.

By using Alibaba’s Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN), more doctors are able to access and update their patient records quickly and effectively. Align is also using Alibaba ECS across seven data centers throughout Asia. Align has continually used Alibaba Object Storage Service (OSS) and a few database products for patient data to run performance analytics, market research, and redefine business metrics. Another reason why Alibaba Cloud was the right choice for Align is the overall Alibaba ecosystem. As the medical industry becomes more digitized and mobile, having a presence on Alibaba's platforms such as Amap, Fliggy, Taobao, Alipay, Cainiao and Tmall saves time and resources because it’s not necessary to redevelop applications for different platforms or internal applications.
