How to initialize Alibaba Cloud ECS cloud service?

Find the target server instance, click "More" - "Instance Status" - "Stop"

After the ECS instance replaces the system disk, the disk ID will change and the original system disk will be released.

Please note:

The user snapshot of your original system disk will be retained, and the automatic snapshot will be determined according to the option of "whether the automatic snapshot will be released with the disk" in the property value of your system disk; you can enter the disk list and click "Modify Properties" to view or modify property values.

The automatic snapshot policy will be invalid and needs to be reset.

You should make relevant backups before operation, so as not to cause loss to you due to data loss.

After the server is initialized (replace the system disk), the data cannot be retrieved, and then click "OK, replace the system disk".

Select the initial system image to complete the initialization of the server

Alibaba Cloud images are divided into public images, custom images, shared images, and images in the image market. Select the initial system image to complete the server initialization. You can also choose the image you want according to your needs.

Note: Alibaba Cloud does not support the exchange of Linux and Windows systems for the time being in regions other than mainland China, and only supports the exchange between different Linux distributions or different versions of Windows.
