Thank you for your continued support of Alibaba Cloud Database Autonomy Service (DAS). We have upgraded the DAS product suite to better meet your database management needs. The new suite features a clearer architecture, more powerful capabilities, and flexible payment models to provide a more professional and intelligent service experience.

Core changes

Layered services with enhanced capabilities

  • Basic Service remains free. It covers basic O&M capabilities, such as infrastructure monitoring and slow SQL statement analysis, to help you quickly understand the operational status of your database.

  • Independent upgrades for high-value services: Advanced features from the original Basic Service, such as transaction lock analysis, automatic SQL optimization, and automatic SQL throttling, are now part of Alibaba Cloud Managed Services. New security protection features, such as whitelist management and sensitive data detection, are now offered as Security Services. These services use powerful AI capabilities to enhance key database O&M and security scenarios. This approach uses computing power to drive O&M upgrades and AI to protect your databases, helping your business meet complex challenges.

AI-driven DAS Agent for a new era of intelligent management

DAS Agent is a fully managed, intelligent database management assistant. It supports databases on the cloud, self-managed databases, and cross-cloud databases. Using AI, it automatically optimizes performance, predicts risks, and provides one-stop O&M, making management effortless.

Enhanced Audit Log service for seamless compliance

To meet data security and compliance needs, the original Enterprise Edition Audit Log service has been enhanced. The compliance audit service category is now optimized to provide multi-AZ backups and long-term log retention. This meets the requirements of personal information protection, Multi-Level Protection Scheme (MLPS), and regulations outside China, helping you easily handle audit challenges.

Security Services

  • Security audit (attack detection and protection).

  • Security management: Combines the Tongyi LLM with years of DAS security experience and SOPs. Provides each instance with a daily minimum of 6 million tokens (up to 10 million) of intelligent computing power. It regularly scans for security risks such as database configuration vulnerabilities, weak passwords, expired certificates, and whitelist issues.

  • Database security features such as sensitive data detection and column encryption.

Security management is a subscription service based on the number of instances. Sensitive data detection and column encryption are pay-as-you-go based on resource usage. For more information, see Security Services pricing details

Audit Log Service

  • Log analysis instance: Original V0/V1/V2/V3 audit logs.

  • Compliance audit service: Adds new capabilities such as multi-AZ backups and long-term log retention. It also supports recovery from accidental deletion in some scenarios.

  • Security audit: Combines the Tongyi LLM with years of DAS audit analysis experience and SOPs. It provides intelligent analysis computing power of at least 10 million tokens for every 10 GB of log data based on actual usage. This enables automatic identification of sensitive behavior patterns such as high-risk SQL operations, batch data exports, and permission changes. It intelligently detects and sends alerts for high-risk operations such as data leaks, SQL injection, and vulnerability attacks.

DAS Agent

  • Based on the enabled features mentioned above, DAS Agent makes automated and intelligent calls, acting as your fully managed, one-stop, intelligent assistant for O&M and security management.

  • Intelligent O&M daily report: Provided by DAS Agent for all database instances managed by the Enterprise Edition. It processes at least 200 million tokens for intelligent analysis daily. It provides insights and summaries of core O&M metrics, such as anomaly alert details, key optimization suggestions (including high-value slow SQL statement identification), disk space usage trends, invalid index detection results, and key resource usage (CPU, memory, I/O). This generates a comprehensive O&M overview.
