How to change my instance existng Os type Aliyun to Ubuntu 18.04.

Hey, I want to change my instance os type. I have configured aliyun os accidentally. But I want to run my elastic instance on Ubuntu 18.04. Please help me to fix it

If you're yet to start a production server, i personally suggest release the accidentally configured instance and go for a fresh instance with Ubuntu

I presume this instance is not yet used since you said it was created accidentally. So what I can suggest you, is just delete the instance and build a new one. Or, you can do the following:

1. STOP the Server
2. Release your current System Disk by going to Action Tab (located in the right side of your main ECS page, click MORE, then select DISK & IMAGE, after that select REPLACE SYSTEM DISK.
3. From here you can select your OS as you desire.

You need to release your system disk and renew create the disk with the Ubuntu image.

i selecting starter package 2.0 and error bam, the os become aliyun
