[Others]Complete newbie Hosting question

I have gone through the steps over, and over, but I just cannot figure out how to bind my Domain name to my temporary instance. I have done everything according to your help pages, but I can't log in with FTP - Filezilla says Cannot connect to server. When I do the website health check it says: You need to direct the domain name to the correct address. I am completely stuck. I bought the Domain from Alibaba Cloud, I have set up the Alibaba Cloud DNS, and done everything, but I am missing some cruicial step. It appears to be bound - When I added the CNAME entry in the Alibaba Cloud DNS with the domain I purchased and the value of the temporary site it said: Resolution added. When I click Resolve on the Domain I purchased in the Domains list it comes up correctly with the value of the temporary site. In the Manage screen, at the top it says Bind Domain Name (Finished).
I am hopelessly lost. I also tried to set up an ECS server, and I couldn't log in. I love the cheap prices, and great promotional power of Alibaba Cloud, I just wish there was an easier way to get started with hosting. I think what would help a lot is clearer and very detailed step-by-step instructions, with actual screen captures of what the user will be seeing at every step. Without a clear process of how to get Hosting started, and useful tutorials, I can only see failure and frustration for many new users. To me if the whole concept of the 11-11 promotion was to increase sales, it may work, but without clear instructions or much simpler and user-friendly screens for beginners, it will end up hurting Alibaba Clouds reputation. If even advanced users like myself can't figure out how to get hosting started, how will beginners fair?

Welcome to the Alibaba cloud scam. It just can not be done. I have been opening tickets for a month and a half and my hosting did not link to my domain, both of them acquired in this cloud junk.
You will learn to hate the message: "You need to direct the domain name to the correct address"

The customer service is non-existent. Do not waste time with this shit. Better Google Cloud.
