Hi, I am quite new to servers, therefore please excuse my stupid questions... Here is my situation:
I have recently purchased ECS from Alibaba Cloud and have installed WHM/CPanel onto my instance. I wish to create 2 different wordpress websites, each with their own domain name. ex: website1.com & website2.com. My 2 domain names are both registered with GoDaddy. I have modified the DNS of website1.com and pointed the A record to my instance's public IP. Here are my questions: 1. In the initial WHM Setup, what should my server's hostname, IP address, IPv4 address for shared virtual host and nameservers be? 2. How do I go about setting up the 2 websites on the same instance with WHM/CPanel? Thank you very much in advance! |

@tcac.
You can use the same public IP address (if you only have one) for both name servers, and as the "A" record for your server's hostname. Your server's hostname should be something such as "server.domain.tld". Once this is setup, you can create separate cPanel accounts for each domain name using the Create a New Account option in Web Host Manager: |

@tcac, Hey hi, You can set up 2 websites on the same instance with WHM/CPanel. I agree with @ghulum but I suggest you use SAS.
