The pricing of ApsaraVideo Live service consists of live video traffic, transcoding, and screenshot fees.

Note: To avoid causing a loss to users due to abnormal and malicious traffic, the upper bandwidth limit for Pay-By-Traffic is set to 10 Gbps by default.

Asia-Pacific Regions:

North America: US and Canada.
Europe: Ukraine, UK, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Sweden, and Germany.
Asia Pacific 1: Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), Taiwan (China), Japan, and Southeast Asian countries and regions excluding Vietnam and Indonesia.
Asia Pacific 2: Indonesia, Republic of Korea, and Vietnam.
Asia Pacific 3: Australia and New Zealand.
Middle East & Africa: South Africa, Oman, UAE, and Kuwait.
South America: Brazil.
Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia.

Billing Rules: The different bit rate specifications used on the day and their corresponding durations are added up as the settlement standard.

Billing rules: You are charged per day based on the peak number of streams transferred from live centers. The price differs with the live center. If your streams are transferred from different live centers, you are charged separately based on the peak number of streams transferred from each live center.

Billing Rules: The live video screenshot service is billed by the number of screenshots taken for live videos on a daily basis.

The fee for using live stream recording includes the monthly recording service fee and the container format conversion fee. You are charged based on the peak number of daily concurrent recordings in a month and the total length of container format conversion.

Billing rules:
Billable item: Monthly Recording Service Fee
1. Billing method: You are charged based on the pay-as-you-go billing method.
2. Billing policy: You are charged based on the peak number of daily concurrent recordings on a monthly basis. The price is the same for all live centers around the world. The number of time shifting channels is not included in the number of recording channels.
3. Billing cycle: You are charged on a monthly basis. After a calendar month ends, the bill is generated after 00:00 on the first day of the following month and the fee is deducted at the same time. The time when the bill is generated is determined by the system.

Billing rules:
Billable item: Container Format Conversion Fee
1. Billing method: You are charged based on the pay-as-you-go billing method.
2. Billing policy: If a stream is recorded in the MP4 or FLV format, you are charged the container format conversion fee based on the length of the recording file in minutes. You are not charged the container format conversion fee for regular recording in the form of TS segments. If a stream is recorded in the MP4 and FLV formats, only one recording is counted and you are charged the container format conversion fee based on the total length of the MP4 file and FLV file.
3. Billing cycle: You are charged on a daily basis. The bill of a day is generated after 00:00 on the following day, and the fee is deducted at the same time. The time when the bill is generated is determined by the system.

Note:You are charged based on the size of the content stored on the day for playback and time shifting and the number of days selected for playback. ApsaraVideo Live supports 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 15 days, and 30 days. Content playback generates downstream bandwidth values and traffic of Alibaba Cloud CDN. You are charged for the downstream bandwidth and traffic. Storage fees of the stored content are already included in the pricing of time shifting.

Examples:Time shifting and playback are set to 3 days for a stream under a domain name. Living streaming starts at 20:00:00 (UTC+8) on June 9 and lasts for one hour. The bitrate is 1 Mbit/s. In this case, the bill for June 9 is: 1×60×60/1024/8×0.33=USD 0.145. From 20:00:00 (UTC+8) on June 9 to 21:00:00 (UTC+8) on June 12, time shifting and playback for the stream are supported.

You are charged for stream delay based on how long you use the stream delay feature. Stream delay is available only in the China (Beijing) and China (Shanghai) regions.

1. Billing method: You are charged based on the pay-as-you-go billing method.
2. Billing policy: You are charged based on how long you use the stream delay feature.
3. Billing cycle: Live monitoring is billed on a daily basis. The bill of a day is generated after 00:00 on the following day, and the fee is deducted at the same time. The actual time when the bill is generated is determined by the system.

Billing example:
You use the stream delay feature for 120 minutes on June 17. The unit price of the stream delay feature is USD 0.0015 per minute. Fee for using the stream delay feature on June 17: 120 × USD 0.0015 = USD 0.18. The bill is generated after 00:00 on June 18, and the fee is automatically deducted at the same time.

Billing of Transcoding

Billing rule: You are charged based on the output specifications and transcoding specifications that are specified for your streaming panels and the streaming length on the current day. The unit of streaming length is minutes.

Billing example: You have a streaming panel in mainland China. The output specifications of streams are 720p in high definition, and the streams are transcoded to 480p in low definition. On March 20, 2018, the streaming length of the streaming panel is 100 minutes. The expense of the streaming panel on that day is calculated based on the following formula: USD 0.05/minute × 100 minutes + USD 0.0097/minute × 100 minutes = USD 5.97.

You are charged for live monitoring based on the total length of the output video on a day. The unit price varies with the output resolution. Live monitoring is available only in the China (Beijing), China (Shanghai), Singapore, and Saudi Arabia regions

1. Billing method: You are charged based on the pay-as-you-go billing method.
2. Billing policy: You are charged for live monitoring based on the total length of the output video on a day. The unit price varies with the output resolution.
3. Billing cycle: Live monitoring is billed on a daily basis. The bill of a day is generated after 00:00 on the following day, and the fee is deducted at the same time. The actual time when the bill is generated is determined by the system.

Billing example:
You add a live monitoring session in the China (Shanghai) region. The output resolution of the session is 720p. On June 17, the session runs for 100 minutes. The unit price of live monitoring for the output resolution 720p is USD 0.0225 per minute. Fee for using live monitoring on June 17: USD 0.0225 × 100 = USD 2.25. The bill is generated after 00:00 on June 18, and the fee is automatically deducted at the same time.

Billing of Queen SDK

e price of the Queen SDK varies with features that you use. For more information about the features, see Queen SDK features.

Billing policy: You are charged for the features that you use. Billing method: The subscription billing method is used.
Billing example: You want to integrate the basic retouching feature of Queen SDK,According to the Pricing section, the price of basic retouching is USD 15 per year per application.You must pay USD 15 per year per application to use the feature.

Outbound data transfer plan

Description: The data transfer plan uses the subscription billing method, and supports the one-off payment. The plan takes effect immediately after the payment. The excess data transfer is billed by traffic.
Live Traffic Package Released

• Billed item: outbound traffic.

• Billing method: subscription.

• Billing cycle: The system calculates billing on a daily basis, and deducts consumed traffic from the data transfer plan.

• Validity period: one year.

• To use the outbound traffic purchased in the data transfer plan, you must use the Pay by Traffic billing method. If the current billing method is Pay by Bandwidth, the unused data in your data transfer plan is unavailable. Therefore, you must switch to the Pay by Traffic billing method.

• You can choose a target region from eight available regions to accelerate the content delivery.

• A data transfer plan can be used only by the Alibaba Cloud account that purchased the plan.

• Multiple data transfer plans are sorted in ascending order of expiration time. The plan with the least remaining validity days has higher payment priority.

• To check the balance of your outbound traffic quota and view the details of your data transfer plan, choose Billing Management > Billing Management > Resource Packages > Overview, and select Live Traffic Package from the Product drop-down list.

• The outbound traffic quota in the data transfer plan is only available within the validity period. The unused traffic quota is invalid after the plan expires. No alternatives or complementary measures will be provided.
