Enrollment Rules and FAQ:

Participants must use Wan AI by Alibaba Cloud to generate video content.
Each AI-generated segment must be no longer than 6 seconds.
Final video duration must be between 15–20 seconds under "Real Innovation - Shape the Future of Indonesia" theme. From local stories to bold innovations, we invite creators to explore, express, and elevate Indonesia’s future through the lens of intelligent technology.
The Wan AI watermark must remain clearly visible and unedited.
Additional editing tools may be used to enhance or compile content.
Final videos must be submitted through the official campaign survey form (will be send via email once you register to the challenge), where they will be reviewed by the judging panel.

It’s a national video challenge powered by Alibaba Cloud’s WAN AI, where creators use AI to generate 15–20 second short videos under the theme “Real Innovation – Shape the Future of Indonesia” The best entries will be showcased at the AI Conference Indonesia 2025.
Who can participate?

Anyone based in Indonesia! This includes developers, designers, marketers, students, content creators, and anyone curious about AI video generation.

Bonus for early birds:
🎁 The first 200 people who register will receive 100 WAN video credits to use on the WAN AI website — giving you more room to experiment and create your 15–20 second video!
Is there a registration or submission fee?

No — the competition is completely free to join.
What is WAN AI?

WAN AI is Alibaba Cloud’s AI-powered video generation tool. It turns prompts and ideas into animated short-form videos in seconds.
Do I need video editing experience to participate?

Basic video editing is recommended. Since WAN AI currently generates up to 5 seconds of video per prompt, you’ll need to combine multiple clips or add transitions, music, or voiceovers to complete your final 15–20 second video.
What should the video be about?

Your video should creatively express the theme: “Real Innovation – Shape the Future of Indonesia” Think about Indonesia’s future, culture, tech, daily life, or big ideas — and reimagine them with AI.
How long should the video be?

Your final video must be between 15–20 seconds.
Can I submit more than one video?

Yes, but only one submission per participant will be eligible for finalist selection. Choose your best!

Can I use Bahasa Indonesia in the video?

If you use bahasa, please include english subtitle on your video.

Will I still retain rights to my video?

Yes, you keep the rights. By submitting, you allow Alibaba Cloud to showcase the work in promotional and public materials, with credit to you.
