This topic describes the features that are supported for a regular user. As a regular user, you can check whether the features are enabled based on the following sections.
1. Personal space
If your personal space is allocated, you can create and upload files/folders on the Personal > Personal Space page. You can select a file/folder in your personal space and perform various operations on the file/folder, such as downloading and sharing the file/folder.
If your personal workspace is not allocated, the Personal module is not displayed on the user interface (UI). If you want to have your personal space, ask an administrator to configure the settings for you.
2. Team space
On the Enterprise > Team Space page, your team space and enterprise files are displayed.
By default, a regular user has only the preview permissions on the team space. This means that you can view files stored in the team space.
If you want to perform other operations on files in the team space, you be granted the corresponding permissions by an administrator.
A regular user cannot view the team space of another team. Only the super administrator or a drive administrator can view the team spaces of all teams.
By default, a regular user has only the preview permissions on enterprise files, while the super administrator and drive administrators have the management permissions on enterprise files.
3. File transfer
You can use the file transfer feature. If you fail to transfer files without external environmental factors, check whether the allocated space is used up. If the space is used up, free up the space or contact an administrator to allocate more capacity for the space.
4. External sharing
You can share files with external organizations for efficient collaboration. When you externally share a file, you can configure the password and validity for the shared file. You can manage all externally shared files on the My Shares page.
If no enterprise custom domain name is configured, up to 500 shares can be created and up to 500 accesses to shares are allowed in a single day. If you do not select the option that allows accesses by only internal users when you create a share, downloading of APK and IPA files in the share (if any) is forbidden. To remove the limits, ask an administrator to configure a custom domain name. For more information, see Configure custom domain names. (From UTC+8 10:00:00 on February 24, 2025, downloading of APK and IPA files in newly created externally-faced share links is forbidden).
5. Internal sharing
Only files on the Personal > Personal Space page can be internally shared. When you internally share a file, the file can be shared with only internal teams or members in your enterprise. A regular user who does not have an allocated personal space cannot use the feature.
6. Recycle bin
A regular user can only view deleted files in the recycle bin of the personal space. If you see that a deleted file is marked by a team space, you may be a team administrator. For more information, see Team space recycle bin.
