ICP Filing only can be apply through your server provider, which means if you want us help you do ICP Filing you have to move your server to Alibaba Cloud. You are not allowed submit application by yourself . If your domain name is not in Mainland China, you really cannot do this.

i guess you mis understand my meaning, what i said is: i applied a web hosting + domain in Aliyun,   but i am not holding any chinese passport/ID,  and i don't  live and work  or having any company in China,   so, the web site will be a personal web site.    now, the problem is: it is very very very confuse me for applied the the ICP,   now i am just suck in fill my info,  and i didn't even know did i make any wrong or not.      
when i ask for help,  all i get is only let me the read the page without any detail answer

it is a really very unhappy experience.

those unhappy experience,  make me want to get out of aliyun,    and i found that i can't transter my domain name out to other web hosting provider that outside china,    f*ck that ICP

If you don't use ECS of Alibaba Cloud China Mainland Version, you CAN NOT do ICP Filing on Alibaba Cloud.

In fact, you don't need to do ICP Filing when you use International Version. You can analysis and run your website directly. If you insist on doing ICP Filing, you have to have a domain in China Mainland.

i am not so sure i have ECS or not,   what i see in my control panel,  it has the Cloud sevice running ( 云服务器 ECS and the Cloud server 云服务器  ),  and i am sure applied a domain's name within china.   i need it in china just because it could be let my visitors has a smooth speed.    however,  since Aliyun can't solve my problem for the ICP,   so i have to relocate the server out of china, such in HK,   and what the @#$@# you guys said" you can 't relocated the server"  
i don't know much computer,  but relocate the server "files" out is just some very simple clicks.  
was you guys try to tell me that my money paying for a webhosting that do nothing???

if aliyun can't do it.  please remove it from your site.  

Regarding the ICP question, I suggest you submit a ticket to support team, so that they could check if you have ECS that can apply ICP,  and if you really need ICP for your website.

Hi, I just want to double check with you about the application for ICP. My registered company is in Malaysia and I would like to purchase the ECS and set up in China mainland. I have already asked the reseller about this application and he would help me to apply for it. My questions are:


1. Would it be possible to apply for ICP under registered company in Malaysia to get the license? If yes, how long is the process after purchased ECS?


2.  Should I apply through Malaysia reseller? Is there any way to apply individually? Please advise.

At present, business registration certificates outside mainland China are not supported to apply ICP filing. Foreign companies need to apply for Foreign (regional) enterprises resident representative registration certificate before filing.

To apply for ICP from Alibaba Cloud, you need to purchase a subscription ECS (min 1 year) of Mainland China Version. After migrating your server on Alibaba Cloud, Alibaba Cloud can help you apply ICP Filing without any cost.
