I have installed a service on an Alibaba cloud instance. I have checked and the service is listening on port 8080. I've created the correct security group details as well for the instance. When I try to use the public I.P. of the instance together with the port number 8080 to access the service, the connection keeps timing out. Does anybody have an idea what I may be doing wrong?

can you access from local, Did your instance can ping?
